Bouldnor Forest Centre
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust’s Isle
of Wight team have just moved to new premises in
Bouldnor Forest near Yarmouth. Forest School visits
continue to be available for local schools at the site
and facilities will be developed for further habitat
studies from spring 2012. Our new telephone numbers
are 01983 760016 for Conservation Manager, Land
Advisor and Pond Project Officer and 01983 760018 for
Education and Reserves Officers.
BCM opens new office
BCM (Bays, Curry & McCowen) , the rural
property specialists, announced the opening
of a new office on the Isle of Wight, which was
celebrated in style when farmers, landowners
and rural professionals gathered at Bowcombe
Shoot Lodge. The new office supplements
BCM’s office at Sutton Scotney near Winchester
and will be headed up by James Attrill who has
joined BCM as a partner. Henry McCowen,
partner at BCM, welcomed guests saying,
“This is a great move for BCM in terms of
consolidation and opening new opportunities.
