Light up for the winter
Now that the darker evenings are
starting to arrive, the threat of crime
and things that go bump in the night
can be a bit of a worry for us all.

steps we can take to prepare homes
against crime this winter.
Traditionally wintertime and hours
of darkness are thought of as being
times of increased risk when it comes
to general crime and burglary.
Most of us have security lights
fitted to our properties, but now
they haven’t been used for a good
six months, are they working ? Check
firstly to make sure that all the lights
fitted have working bulbs, are in good
repair and will operate efficiently
when required. Having given these
things little or no thought for the past
six months they can fall into a state of
disrepair.
