mash and new potatoes, depending on the season. The beef
and lamb is used in the main menu, and in the daily specials.
That’s not all. As many a local will know, the Chequers
hosts an English Pie Night every Thursday, as well as Steak
Night each Friday. Acknowledged as a family friendly pub and
