The Team Two Day Event sponsored by
Creasey, Biles and King and Somerton CrossCountry sponsored by Liphook Equine took
place on 27th/28th September. Mr. and
Mrs. David Biles of Somerton Farm not only
allow the Isle of Wight Hunt Supporters’Club
to hold what is one of the island’s biggest
equine events there year after year but also
put up with members of the club coming
and going to the farm for weeks beforehand
checking, renewing, painting and building.
The course underwent a makeover last year
thanks to local firms and individuals who
gave materials and financial help but there
were a couple of new jumps which the
course builder and team constructed to test
the competitors. Entries were once again full
and it seems that people are getting braver
as several riders decided to move up to a
