Education ‘My Fair Lady’ comes to Ryde School Island audiences are being invited to immerse themselves in the wonderful melodies of My Fair Lady at Ryde School in July: timeless numbers such as ‘I could have danced all night’, ‘I’m getting married in the morning’, and ‘Just you wait, ‘enry ‘iggins, just you wait.’ With a 50-strong cast and live band, this feelgood production is the annual Ryde School Summer Musical. A tradition spanning more than 20 years, the musical is always a big and colourful performance with fabulous dancing, talented acting and singing, creative stage sets and exciting costumes. It is being performed on Sunday 1st, Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd July. Inspired by the screen Ryde School has a long and successful history of producing musicals, with a number of performers going on to take up stage careers. With 20 years of musicals at the school under their belts, directors and teachers Sian Evans, Andy Grubb, Martine Burgess and Tim Bull have chosen a cast that will entertain and costumes and stage design that will ensure a night to remember.
