The Samphire Coastal Kitchen
is a family-run bistro on Ventnor
Esplanade, with stunning sea

firmly on high quality, no frills
food at competitive prices.
The bistro opens from 9.30am

heavily on sea food, especially
the mouth-watering Ventnor
Bay crab and lobster, with Sue
making her specialist crab soup,
crab cakes and crab tartlets.
Locally-sourced sea bass and
sole are also available but for
those who prefer meat dishes,
the selection includes steaks,
lasagnes and home-made steak
and kidney pies. And much of
the salad, herbs and vegetables
served at the Samphire Coastal
Kitchen are grown by the family
on a plot at their home. There is
also a vegetarian and children’s
menu available.
Home-made cakes and cream
teas are among the afternoon
treats on offer in the bright
bistro, where the friendly staff
are always on hand to offer help
and advice. Tel: 01983 855938.
