New Years Day swim
Ryde Inshore Rescue are holding a
New year’s Day Swim on Monday 1st
January 2018, 10am -12pm.
“Free event, so bring down your
friends and family! Come down to
Appley beach, brave the cold and
take a dip. We will have both boats
out providing safety cover for all the
swimmers. We will also have our shop
open with tea, coffee, hot chocolate,
soft drinks and more. “All hot drinks
only £1! Bottles of water only 50p!
Come down and support your local
independent lifeboat!”

Christmas at
Osborne
Make your Christmas extra special this year with

decorated, with fully-costumed guides showing

This winter, IOW-based company
Wyatt and Jack, who make bags
from upcycled bouncy castles,
are bringing a carefully curated
selection of ethical and sustainable
brands and products into their
new pop up retail space at the
company’s Bembridge workshop.
Stories Emporium seeks to tell
the tales behind each product, so
you know the exact provenance of
every purchase.
From ethically sourced shirts and
scarves, with a totally transparent
supply chain, to lingerie made by
Fairtrade initiatives in Tanzania.
They even have a sock brand that
donates a pair to a local homeless
person for each pair sold!
Stories Emporium opens on
Mon - Sat 10am to 4pm until
January, with late night Thursday
10am to 7pm and Sunday opening
throughout December from 11am
to 3pm.
