Decadeance goes carnival !
For the 8th year DECADeANCE returned to the Event Centre at Cowes Yacht Haven and in an Olympic year added a carnival theme complete with a live performance by Fat Samba .
Partygoers aged from 18 to 80 dressed decadently for the occasion in a range of carnival inspired costumes and other decadent outfits as they danced through the decades . They had fun in the casino , photo booth , decadent draw , sampled the cocktails and even had their faces painted ! DECADeANCE , originally created by Island DJ Tony Martin in 2009 as a one-off party , continues to grow in popularity every year with the 700 tickets being snapped up two months in advance . All profits go to the Earl Mountbatten Hospice and this year ’ s decadent party at the time of going to press has raised over £ 10,000 …. not bad for one night of decadence !
