Briddlesford launches new dairy brand

Briddlesford Lodge Farm has launched a new Briddlesford Farm Dairy brand and a range of products ahead of the completion of its new on farm milk processing facility .
The new brand includes a full range of milk products ( Raw / Whole / Semi-Skimmed / Skimmed ), double cream , clotted cream and a new Halloumi style cheese . With a further range of products to be launched during the spring , once the new facility is complete , it is exciting times for the farm and the wider Isle of Wight dairy industry . “ As a dairy farmer it is increasingly difficult to survive selling our milk to processors so we have decided to bring it all back to the farm . With major investment we will soon be able to process 100 % of our milk and products and sell direct to retailers ” says Farmer Paul Griffin . “ We have a world-class herd of Guernsey cows producing milk that is full of flavour and much more nutritious than standard milk , so to process it on the farm and increase our range of products is great for us and great for local consumers ”. The new Briddlesford Farm Dairy brand is focused on three unique qualities ; Taste – the milk comes from a pedigree herd of Guernsey cows and is unsurpassed in terms of flavour . Nutrition – Guernsey milk has much higher levels of vitamins , minerals , Omega-3 and A2 protein . Heritage – The Griffin Family have been farming at Briddlesford since 1923 .
