Smiles of awards!
The sterling efforts of riders from
across the Island were acknowledged
at the Isle of Wight Riding Club’s
annual awards ceremony, held in
conjunction with their AGM, at the
Chequers Inn, Rookley.
The standard of competition
continues to be high on the Island,
not only among senior members
but also in the junior section, where
many promising youngsters are
emerging.

The Sue Lightbown Memorial
Trophy was won by Wendy
Warren, for her tireless work in
helping to run the club, including
organising events on the Island
and ensuring the IW Riding Club is
well represented on the mainland.
Committee member Sue Holmes
said: “We would like to thank
everyone who gives us so much
help and support to ensure the
smooth running of the club.”
