YOUR GUIDE TO COUNTRY LIFE Brook Village History Approximately 1,000 people attended the 9 days of exhibition and the 2 days of heritage events at the Seely Hall, Brook, in August. The card and paper displays are now permanent posters which the village can store to use in the future. To add to the displays, the Hall was full of tools, archaeological finds and artefacts borrowed from local people, the farms and the smithy as well as Calbourne Mill and Blackgang Chine. There is a DVD of the 2011 exhibition and events available priced £5.00. Following on from the success of ‘Brook A Village History’, is ‘Village Memories’ A, 200 page paperback collection of the full versions of the memories recorded over the length of the Brook Village History project.
