The St Helen's is
awarded two rosettes
The St Helens has just been
awarded its second AA rosette.
Mark owner/chef said, “Since
the restaurant opened in 2005,
we have stuck to our principles
of sourcing the best Island
produce available for our menus
and providing excellent service
in a relaxed and welcoming
environment. Therefore to be
recognised with this award is a
massive achievement. We were
awarded our first AA rosette
in July 2007 and the entire St
Helens teams have worked
extremely hard to increase the
standards to what is required
at this level. We will definitely
be celebrating for some time”.

Thompson has appointed his
new head chef for the Pond
Cafe , Bonchurch - Andrew
Beaumont who brings with
him a Mediterranean flavour
to his menus. To start, Seared
Mackerel, Buffalo Mozzarella,
Cherry Tomatoes, Baby Spinach
and Olive oil, main dishes such
as Gnocchi of Wild rabbit,
Wild Mushrooms, Rocket and
