It’s a sailing
spectacular at
Cowes Week
Despite some mixed weather, there was
plenty of sun, sea and sailing at Lendy
Cowes Week. Running since 1886, this
popular eight day event was enjoyed by
both competitors and spectators.
Although sailing is alway the main event
there was plenty for everyone to enjoy
with live music, street entertainment, beer
tents and food, aerial displays and sailing
experiences available, day and night.
Spectators could watch the racing from the
land, The Green and The Parade were both
prime spots, or climb into a spectator boat
and catch all the action from the water.
