Central celebrates 20 years
of Citroën franchise
Central Garage in Freshwater originated as a cycle shop and
general repairer around 1910.
We started under our present ownership as DAF dealers
in Freshwater in 1971. Expansion to Newport in 1975
saw a Volvo dealership on the present sales site. In 1991
we doubled in size and welcomed the Citroën franchise
which is celebrated today with Citroëns fresh new corporate
identity.
Our service department carries out all types of repairs,
diagnostics and MOTs to most makes of vehicle car and
light van Citroen and Volvo vehicles. They collect vehicles
for routine maintenance and MOTs from all parts of the
Island free of charge. The parts department also operates an
all Island delivery service for Citroen and Volvo car parts
and will shortly be operating an internationally known All
Makes parts service. Our bodyshop works to high standards
on the smallest repair to restoration resprays.
