This year heralds the last
Jazz evening to be held at
Mottistone Manor Gardens.
Over fourteen hundred people
attended this final event. A
regular social event for Jazz
aficionados and for those who
just enjoy the atmosphere,
the picnics and the enjoyable
company. This year the
weather stayed dry and it was a
fun event. Music was provided

by Mayfair Rhythm Kings,
Saxofony and the Goose Island
Syncopaters.
After 21 years many people
will miss the regular fixture
on the social calendar but
National Trust event organizer
Heather Bradshaw felt it ended
on a good note. Alternative
musical events may be staged in
future in the gardens.
