House Proms were treated
to a stunning night of
music and fireworks.
Baritone Earl Carpenter,
who also compared the
event, had taken a night
off from playing Phantom
of the Opera in London to
perform, and the audience,
prepared for atrocious
weather, were delighted by
lovely evening sunshine.
A group of mayors from
London boroughs added
to the glitz of the occasion,
their chains of office
gleaming with reflected
light from the fireworks.
