MOTORING
Rolls Royce
rally drops in on
Westover Park
The 18th May saw the
Paulerspury Section from
the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts'
Club arrive onto the island
from Northamptonshire.
Approx 25 cars (50
members) turned out with
their Rolls-Royces, some
dating as far back as 1930,
for a fun packed weekend.
Arriving on Friday the group
had lunch at The Royal Yacht
Squadron and then made their
way back to The Royal, Ventnor.
On Saturday they organised
a pleasant drive around the
island stopping off at Westover
Park where they were given a
guided tour of the house and
grounds. During the day they
also managed to pay a visit to
the Classic Boatyard Museum,
Newport, and Rosemary
Vineyard. On Saturday
evening a Gala dinner
was held at The Royal for
members and invited guests.
On Sunday they visited
Osborne House, The Brading
Experience and took afternoon
tea at the Spyglass, Ventnor.
The cars left the island on
Monday afternoon not before
visiting Godshill Model Village.
Mia Murray club secretary
commented "it was a most
