Pa mpered at Bembridge Coast By Tina Hughes What better way to spend a wet day than lounging around in a sauna, or relaxing in a quiet treatment room enjoying a massage from a skilled therapist? These are two options I experienced when I visited Bembridge Coast Hotel to see what's on offer for members of their Leisure Club. If you enjoy a daily swim there's a heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room, as well as the Island's only Tropicarium. The pool and spa area is bright, clean and pleasant; I spent a leisurely morning trying the different heat rooms, swimming and sitting by the pool enjoying a complimentary cup of tea. I was then taken to the salon for a back, neck and shoulder massage from Karen the senior therapist, who expertly kneaded out the numerous knots in my back and shoulders leaving me feeling both relaxed and energised. Finally, I enjoyed a light lunch in the Solent Lounge while I chatted to the Leisure Centre manager Neil Wood about the benefits offered to members of the club. Membership entitles you to the use of all the facilities provided for visitors on the popular short breaks, so there's plenty to keep you entertained all day. Additional benefits include various discounts on treatments in the Salon Spa, beauty products, items from the gift shop and even holidays with the Warner group. There are three membership options available; the annual Gold membership, six months or a one-month privilege membership. Full details are available from the leisure club reception.
