A recent patient of Dr Sattar from Wootton
Dental practice talks to Roz Whistance
Margaret (we’ve changed her
name to protect her privacy)
has had trouble with her teeth
most of her life. Now in her
early 70s, she came to Dr Sattar
who's based at Wootton Bridge
Dental Practice when her two
front became so wobbly that
she feared that they would fall
out. She had been attending her
previous dentist on the Island on
a regular basis for many years.

Dr Sattar for a second opinon.

none of her remaining teeth
could be salvaged. Dr Sattar
advised that all the remaining
teeth had to be removed due to
previous poor dental work and
misdiagnosis. The main problem

treatments and long standing
gum and bone disease. Despite
these problems the teeth were

was x-ray my whole mouth, and
he said every single tooth was
abscessed and had severe bone
loss inside my jaw a
