The first Robin Hill Garden Show
was such a success in 2006 that a
second event will be held over the
first Bank Holiday weekend this
May.
The event showcases the best the
Island has to offer in plant nurseries
and garden centres.
Other related garden businesses
include machinery, buildings,
landscaping products and outdoor
furniture.
Even more local food producers
are being lined up for this year to
give visitors an even better taste of
what’s available on the island.
And the popular Farmer Jack’s
marquee is expanding to include
wine and beer.
Local arts and crafts will be
represented in the craft
marquees and this year
local nature charities
will be hosting a
Red
Squirrel
Fayre
to
officially
celebrate
how lucky
we are to
be one of
the few
areas of
England
that is
still
a
home to this beautiful creature.
New at Robin Hill for this spring are
woodland ponds and spectacular
woodland walks.
This year 20 per cent of all booking
fees paid by trade stalls will be
going to two extremely worthy local
causes – Age Concern and the Isle of
Wight Air Ambulance.
