Art plays an important role in creating a peaceful society. It helps to
build bridges among different cultures, to foster understanding, to
develop empathy, to express feelings, to learn how to be flexible and
open-minded, to be exposed to different ideas and learn to listen to the
views of others, and to work collaboratively. These are all attributes
that can help to promote peace.
To take this noble objective to the younger generation, I believe the
Innovative Indian Arts Centre(IIAC) will play an active role through
a meaningful artistic innovation and creativity by utilising modern
technology.
