The first step in your consultation should have been completed before you greeted your client . Always review the client consultation form prior to greeting your client so you have a clear picture of the reason for their visit . Review the consultation form verbally and make sure it is signed by the client . You ’ ll be surprised at how much you can unearth by having a conversation as opposed to just reading a form ! “ Giving them written questions along with verbal questions will reach different learning types ” 1 to help you discover important information . There have been many instances where clients didn ’ t list any allergies on their consultation form , but once the questions were repeated verbally , they provided a list of allergies and other conditions that could have potentially caused an adverse reaction .
Here are a few more open-ended questions to ask that will help you to curate a consultation that will leave you informed and prepared to deliver an amazing experience and provide results that will create loyal clients for life .
