• Stay away from food bombs . If you need clarification , a food bomb is a huge , hard to digest meal with too many unhealthy fats and is high in salt and sugar . The kind of overindulgent meal that leaves you feeling sluggish for hours . For example , the fast-food chain advertised triple / quadruple burgers that boast extra cheese , bacon , and secret sauce !

Additionally , prolonged sitting also has a negative impact on your orthopedic health . Sitting causes your entire spine to compress . The repercussions range from top to bottom ( neck to low back ). Prolonged sitting also contributes to poor posture in general . Some health experts say the health risks of prolonged sitting are even worse than those from smoking ! This is why prolonged sitting has been called ‘ sitting disease .’ Larry Swanson details the antidote to sitting disease in his book ‘ Scared Sitless .’ Clever title !
