Finishing the sand stages was SS09: Inject Some
Fuel, a point to point navigation through the sand
dunes prior to a Transport Stage to Salmon Gums.
With a short field of nine starters, the course proved
tricky for some as they found the last point tricky to
get in and out and return to the finish before DNF
time (3 hours).
Five teams managed to finished, lead by Peter
Mihailoff and Ben Gurney (car #02) in a time of
02:24:02.
