Malton Electric Company was formed in 1946 in Eveleth , Minnesota and expanded its electrical contracting business and moved to a larger facility in Virginia , MN . In 1955 , Malton built the first building of its present complex and has expanded the building three times to its present size of 40,000 square feet in order to serve the mining and industrial customers on the Iron Range . In the 1996 , Malton expanded its business to a 50,000 square foot building in Ishpeming , Michigan to service mining and industrial customers in the Upper Peninsula . Malton brings you peace of mind with a full line of reliable products from manufacturers such as Siemens , Baldor , ABB , and Toshiba , backed by first-rate service and support . We service incoming controls , in-process controls , outgoing quality controls , controls on inspection & testing methods & equipment and documentation control of operating manual & written procedures .
