Irish Wedding
DIARY
Winter
2017
Welcome
Hello everyone and welcome once again to another issue of
Ireland’s best-loved and top-selling bridal magazine. We’ve had a
hectic few months topped off with our usual September visit to the
Wedding & Honeymoon Show in the RDS which as always was a
magnificent success. Well done again to Terry Burns and all at Wed.
ie for organising such a fabulous show. I also have been busy on one
of my other projects close to my heart so have a look in the Diary News
section for more information; a little hint, it involves dogs!
As winter approaches, the long winter evenings are prefect for wedding planning and we have a
bumper issue of Irish Wedding Diary to help you plan your perfect day. Whether you’re finalising
the last minute details or just setting out on your wedding journey, we’ve got something for
you inside this issue.
This issue has five of our exclusive wedding shoots where we take dresses from Ireland’s
top bridal designers and the best loved bridal boutiques and shoot them in some of the most
popular wedding venues in Ireland. This issue we travelled to Cork, Galway, Laois, Kildare and
back to Dublin to shoot some fabulous wedding dresses in stunning settings. We also had
Xposé and Glenda Gilson pay us another visit on location for a chat which was great.
If you still can’t choose a wedding dress from all those dresses we have a select preview of the
2018 collections from some of the top international dress designers and global bridal brands.
All these brands are available in Ireland from a bridal boutique near you, so you should have no
problem finding your dream dress in this issue.
We have a feature for those all important bridesmaids, letting them know what they are
expected to do and how to make it as enjoyable as possible.
Honeymoons are the one part of the wedding which is truly just about the couple and with that
