Autumn 2013 Third Dacia model arrives Dacia have now launched their third car in Ireland after Sandero and Duster. The new Logan MCV (Maximum Capacity Vehicle) is effectively an estate version of the Sandero supermini, sharing the same underpinnings, engines and transmissions. The brand claim this latest offering has bestin-class boot capacity at 573 litres, expandible to 1,518, and ample space for five adults. Three engines are offered — the 1.2 75hp petrol, and TCe 90 turbocharged petrol, and the dCi 90 diesel. The smallest 1.2 petrol delivers 5.8 L/100km (48.7mpg) on the combined cycle. Tax bands are from A2-B2 (€180-€280). Grades are Alternative and Signature. Logan comes with a standard warranty of three years/ 100,000km. Up to a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty is offered for €369. drive time A3 Saloon launched The Audi A3 saloon has been launched in Ireland at a starting price of €29,950 on the road. There are three equipment levels — Entry level, SE and S-Line. Two TFSI petrol engines and one TDI are available at the moment, 1.4 TFSI 125hp, 1.4TFSI 140hp Cylinder on Demand (CoD) and 2.0 TDI 150hp. At 425 litres, there's more boot space than A3 Sportback but with the same level of cabin space. The Irish distributor is targeting 500 units of the saloon in sales for next year, representing about a third of all A3 derivatives. The expected biggest seller, a diesel model, will cost in the region of €35,000 on the road. You can buy a new Logan through Dacia Finance for €119 per month. Prices are from €11,190-€15,690. Honda's 1.6 now in CR-V This is a full-size family SUV with ample room inside and with up to 1,669 litres of luggage capacity available. Standard equipment includes dual-zone climate control, 17-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, onemotion folding rear seats, electric front and rear windows, alarm, USB connectivity and Daytime running lights. Honda has confirmed launch pricing for their CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC 2WD SUV. The 1.6 i-DTEC is the lightest engine of its type in the world, with emissions of 119g/km for annual road tax from €200. Fuel economy figures are 4.5 L/100kms, the equivalent of 62.8mpg. A full tank of diesel will deliver a range in excess of 1,280km. Grand C4 Picasso in January The new Citroen Grand C4 Picasso will go on sale in Ireland in January, at a starting price of €27,895. The top price is €39,395 for the Exclusive+ grade with 150hp and automatic transmission. Although 11cm longer than its predecessor and with more passenger and cargo capacity, the new  generation 7-seater is 100kg lighter than the outgoing C4 Grand Picasso.
