Troutman Elementary School Troutman Elementary School has received a wonderful gift from a grateful parent. A beautiful stone patio has been built in the courtyard at Troutman Elementary by Mr. Ariel Salgado. Mr. Salgado, a parent of four children, one of whom attends Troutman Elementary, wanted to create something that would “be here when I am no longer here. Children will still be playing in this space when I am gone.” This beautiful courtyard creation will, according to Mrs. Kim Cressman, Principal, “be host to children eating lunch outside, sitting and reading, playing…it’s an incredible addition to our school.” Mr. Salgado, owner of Salgado Landscaping, provided the materials and labor to create this outdoor space. He intends to add the walkways to the patio later, as he continues to improve the existing courtyard area. A generous gift from a caring parent. Mr. Ariel Salgado has left his handprint on the hearts of all staff and students at Troutman Elementary School. www .the LVproject. org THE LV PROJECT IS ALL ABOUT BUOYANCY.
