programs, the district has enhanced their partnerships with community agencies from those schools to cater meals to their sites. Some of these agencies include the Boys & Girls Club, and PowerCross. The After-School Supper Program is made possible through the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and is administered through the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). CACFA provides aid to child and adult care institutions and family or group day care homes for the provision of nutritious foods that contribute to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children, and the health and wellness of older adults and chronically impaired disabled persons. The district is also open to other organizations to partner in this program. If your agency has students that would benefit from this program, please contact Tina Wilson, Director of Child Nutrition, at 704.873.2175. Iredell-Statesville School & Family 15
