The sixth grade science classes at Lakeshore Middle
School had a hands on experience when the Mobile
Gemstone Mining Lab came to their school.

East Iredell Elementary celebrated Read Across
America Week by having a “Story of the Day” each
day where students dressed up. On Wednesday,
students dressed in their best groovy getup for
Wacky Wednesday.

Students from Mount Mourne, an IBO World
School, placed 2ndin the North Carolina Quiz Bowl
Competition. Congratulations to Sriya Dhupati, Nidhi
Dhupati, Benjamin Gordan, Jessica Jewel, Tyler
Snyder, and Alex Yeh!

Employees at Doosan participated in Volunteer Day
at Third Creek Elementary School. Thank you to all
our community partners!

The officers from the Navy Recruitment Center brought some men and women in uniform, as well as
the ladies from the USO lounge in the Charlotte airport, to pick up the numerous supplies that Lake
Norman High School had gathered for them. They also did and meet and greet with the kids!
