The Lord’ s Supper The Lord’ s Supper will be observed during our evening service on March 5. Because of the exceptional blessing we have in this sacrament and the danger of eating and drinking unworthily, it is necessary that we come to it with knowledge, faith, repentance, love and with hungering and thirsting souls after Christ and His benefits. The congregation is encouraged to use all appointed means, public and private, to come to the Lord’ s Table, depending upon God for the gracious preparation of the heart according to His promise( Psalm 10:17). The next Lord’ s Supper will be held on Sunday morning, April 2, 2017.
Volunteers Needed As you have heard, I. P. C. will be hosting the Reformation’ s Reforms Conference, March 23-26. We are looking for I. P. C. members that would be willing to assist with various tasks such as manning the registration / information table, answering questions, assisting with directions to the various session locations, etc., over the course of the weekend. Volunteers will be signing up for blocks of time to assist, so you will not be required to work the entire weekend. Session / Diaconate Meeting Our regular Session / Diaconate meeting will be held on Monday evening March 20, at 5:30 p. m. and 6:00 p. m. They will meet jointly at 6:30 p. m.
Dead Theologians’ Society The meeting for Dead Theologians’ Society’ s evening group will meet on Wednesday, March 29, at 7:00 p. m. at the home of Rev. Terry Johnson, 110 Lee Blvd. The other groups will meet on Thursday, March 30, at 6:45 a. m. for breakfast at Henry’ s Restaurant, 28 Drayton Street or for lunch at noon in the Administration Bldg. Read Mere Christianity by C. S. Lewis( pp. 115-227).
The Genevans’ Choir The Genevans’ Choir from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA, will be giving a choral concert on Thursday, March 9, 2017, 7:00 p. m. at Grace Church of the Islands, 6901 Concord Road, Savannah. David Kenneth Smith is the conductor for the choir. For information contact 912-898-0170.
Tuesday Morning Circle
The Tuesday Morning Circle will meet on March 14, 10:30 a. m. at the Marshes of Skidaway Island, 95 Skidaway Island Park Road. Mrs. Annette Hartley is the hostess. R. S. V. P. to 912-598-8018.
Tuesday Evening Circle The Tuesday Evening Circle will meet on March 7, 7:00 p. m. at the home of Mrs. Anne Portell, 340 E. 50 th Street.

I. P. C. Day Camp Employment Applications for employment at I. P. C.’ s Day Camp are now available in the Church Office or from Frankie Daniell. Deadline for applying is March 31.
Flowers for 2017 The flowers in the sanctuary on Sundays are donated by the members of the congregation. This is a wonderful way to honor / memorialize a special person in your life. If you would like to donate flowers for 2017, please call Laurel Brewer at 912-727-4418.
Church Office Closed The church office will be closed on Friday, March 17, due to the St. Patrick’ s Day Parade. It will reopen on Monday, March 20.
Spring Forward Daylight Savings time begins at 2:00 a. m. on March 12. Remember to put your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed on Saturday, March 11.
