of testimony, devotional challenge, and solid preaching that will enrich our thinking about missions. Our church planters this year are already dear friends to many of us. Alex and Stefany Mark are in Beaufort, SC, planting First Scots Presbyterian church( which will particularize in February). Alex was a pastoral intern at I. P. C. before taking the role of church planter at First Scots. We look forward to hearing the story of that plant and their vision for the future. Tim and Andrea Kay serve the African Bible University both in Uganda and stateside. Tim teaches at ABU for part of the year and serves as their developer of church relations in the U. S. part of the year. We’ ve supported ABU for a long time and look forward to getting to know the Kays. Hermes and Alleen Tomas serve with PeruMission in Trujillo. Several of us have gotten to know them well as we’ ve served on the short – term teams that they coordinate. Hermes is the CEO of Sinergia, PeruMission’ s micro-finance ministry and Alleen is the team administrator in Trujillo. They both facilitate the short – term team efforts. It will be great to have them with us.
I. P. C. is strongly committed to supporting the mission of inviting all to“ come and see.” Our goal is to dedicate 25 % of our annual operating budget to missions. We encourage you to full participation in the missions conference, as we all need to be challenged personally and corporately. You need to see how your tithes and offerings are being used. We all need to be renewed in our own relationships with the Savior, and so you are all invited to“ Come and see.” Our congregation’ s times of fellowship are always rich. Enjoy this year the wonderful food prepared by the Barrett’ s Silk Road Catering and Teri Bell of Miss Sophie’ s. This year we will take full advantage of the beautiful renovations done on our downtown campus, with all of our gatherings taking place in the Fellowship Hall, Telfair Hall, and our sanctuary. Perhaps the Lord will use this time to enrich and expand your vision of His Kingdom and your role in it. I look forward to seeing you.
