college & Career ministry
I
t has been a busy summer for both
our Career and College groups! The
Career group has continued to meet
every Thursday night for Bible study
at the church, but has also gotten
together for impromptu beach days,
July 4 th parties, and various other events.
Many have volunteered with Mission
Savannah, and men’s and women’s small
groups have started as well.
The College Group has seen steady
growth and activity all summer as they
have met to study Daniel on Wednesday
nights at the Keys, played kickball,
and had impromptu game nights and
beach days. Several leaders have stepped
forward to gather people and to grow
the fellowship among our college
students home for the summer. Please
pray for them as many either head to
college for the first time or go back to
their campuses in a few weeks!
But please be praying for each of these
groups heading into the fall! That the
Career group would effectively reach
SCAD grad students, Mercer Medical
Students, Hunter Army Airfield soldiers,
Savannah Law students, and any other
20’s-30’s young professionals in our city!
And please pray for Evan Gear
especially as he seeks to build
relationships with SCAD undergrads this
fall and eventually a vibrant outreach
on the campus!
How else can you help?! Invite these
people into your homes for lunch after

church on Sunday, get their contact
info and follow up, ask how you can
serve them, what they need, take
them out for coffee and listen, show
up to their expos, etc. As those who
have received the grace upon grace
of our Lord Jesus Christ, we have
much to offer! Please be praying and
seeking to serve!
Keep on,

29 through October 7, 2017. This
will be primarily a medical and
dental mission trip, but there
may be a construction project

opportunity if there is sufficient
interest. Please contact Frankie
Daniell at [email protected]
if you are interested in this
