I have felt the Lord “hugging” me through the prayers of His people and I can never thank you enough for what it has meant to Neill and me. If you have never asked for prayer at I.P.C., you must do so as you will be blessed knowing others are lifting you up through difficult times. With thankfulness, Kayron Stevens  Weddings  Congratulations to: . . . 2 nd LT and Mrs. Alexander Hays Hammond, who were united in marriage on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at the First Presbyterian Church, Savannah, GA. You have been with us in this valley and we cannot ever express our thankfulness and gratitude for your comfort. While we grieve our loss of Vicki, we rejoice she is with her Lord and Savior and now worships with the saints and angels. The diagnosis of “breast cancer” was such a shock for me but your response was overwhelming. Thank you for the many ways you have demonstrated the love of Christ to me. You cared for me and my family through visits, meals, cards, phone calls, text messages and most importantly, with prayers on my behalf. When I didn’t know what to pray, I found great comfort knowing you were praying. Thank you for the cards, flowers, meals, calls, and visits you have extended to us. It has been a constant support and has been appreciated more than you will ever know. This congregation truly exemplifies the love of Christ. Blessings, Charlie and Amy Martin for the Hall and Reeder families September marks a year since my diagnosis. Treatment is finished. We have been sustained by our gracious and loving Lord. I have so much to be thankful for. It was a road I would not have chosen but the Lord has strengthened me along the way. Donna Parrish I.P.C.
