Missions Conference (February 23-26, 2017) The theme of the 2017 Missions Conference was “Come and See,” taken from John 4:29. Dr. Paul Kooistra, former director of the Presbyterian Church in America’s (PCA) missions agency, Mission to the World (MTW), was the keynote speaker. Missionary guests included Alex and Stefany Mark, pastor of First Scots Presbyterian Church, Beaufort, South Carolina; Hermes and Alleen Tomás of Peru Mission in Trujillo, Peru; and Tim and Andrea Kay of African Bible University in Kampala, Uganda. A special offering was collected to support Jessica Wiggins in her short-term service to Peru Mission and to defray publishing costs for the translation of one of Terry Johnson’s books into Chinese, a project sponsored by the Chinese Reformed Seminary, Taipei. I.P.C. Staff meetings/dinners were held every Monday night in the homes of different staff members to conduct camp business and have a Bible study together. This summer we studied “Questions God Asks.” Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this camp.
