Careers:
Our Careers’ Ministry in 2017 grew in depth. There were several deacons ordained from this group this
year, and there was more ownership taken in the leadership. Every weekend there were opportunities for
fellowship and study. A men's small group and a women's small group were started as well as a
discussion group that met regularly. All this happened alongside our week-in and week-out Thursday
Night Bible Study and monthly activities (Urban Hope dinners, Christmas party, etc.).
Please continue in prayer for Paul, Evan and Tim as they serve our church’s youth, college and career
groups. Pray also for the leadership and wisdom of this committee as we seek to improve our ministry in
these areas. May our Lord give us humility, purity and boldness with the gospel. May He continue to
bless us with favor and healthy growth to serve not only our church but our community and the world too.
