It was a truly a spectacular evening of music and a soulful performance from Kaz, where she provided harrowing
insight into her struggles in life, along with the triumphant resilience that is her current life, happy at last. I am
pleased beyond words for her, as she is a very special and talented lady.
I spoke to her a few days before the gig and she told me she was very nervous about doing this performance, as
she was bearing her soul in a place she had always wanted to sing since a young girl. I reassured her that she had
nothing to fear, as although she was sharing some of the most private and challenging parts of her life, she already
knew the outcome. She was grateful for my support…my friend, Kaz.
I want to acknowledge the contributions and support for this exemplary evening of music provided by Sam York,
Amy McIntyre, David Jamison and Stephen Mullan. It goes without saying that this goes down in MY history as
the absolute BEST gig I have ever attended…don’t you know!
