Eric: What do you see on the horizon for Screaming For Silence? Zeb: Finish out the year supporting the album and getting back in the studio and keep progressing as a band. I can't wait to see where we will be in like 3 years. Photo credit: Jimi V Photography Eric: What is the history or how was Screaming For Silence born? Danny: Zeb, Casey and I went to college together. That's where it all started. We moved into Omaha after college and that's when we started kicking it into gear and taking the band serious. Matt joined a few years later and well, it wasn't soon after that we quit our jobs and went out on the road and began touring full time. We met Mikey on the road and he completed the deal, and we have Tyler--he's the glue that holds this whole thing together…and we've got a pretty awesome team of six. Eric: When setting your tour schedule, how do you determine what cities to hit? Danny: For the most part, we schedule the tour knowing in advance where we want to play, the cities we want to go to and the crowds or fans we want to see. Playing 175 to 200 shows a year, we have a big family, and these places as well as the fans’ are our home away from home, so we want to give back to all those people. We typically try to stay on the west coast during the winter and then move east when there's not more snow (were not big fans of the snow). Our biggest focus, of course, is trying to hit every city that we call “home” and every city that has shown Screaming For Silence the love. Because when we are out on the road, it's just the 6 of us and we are new; fresh--not everyone knows us…so the friendships we make are ones that we cherish…and that's what it's truly about!
