put the challenges behind you, keep moving forward, forge ahead. The message is like, “If I think too much,
I can’t get over us.” If you dwell on it, you can’t move forward. No matter what you do, it’s a continual
reminder. As the song progresses, it moves toward the person gaining strength to say, “I’m okay on my own
two feet. I can handle this. I love you and everything’s great, but I’m over us.”
ION: Do you have any plans to record a full-length album?
Darby: Oh yeah. We’re grinding on it right now. We’ve got some great music that’s going to be coming out.
We may pull a few from the EP. The new album is a more Progressive Rock/Modern Rock kind of feel. Me
and Kirk get to really jam on this one, and ROEY HAVIV--our new bass player--really brings something to the
table. We look forward to releasing it in early 2016.
