TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT THE CREATORS OF MY JAM TV. My Jam TV is created by David S. Zucker and Russ Markowitz. David Zucker possesses an expansive background in the business and entertainment arenas. His impressive beginning consisted of serving as executive of a second generation Coca-Cola franchise in New York City. His early days also included a slice of the music industry, as he performed as a musician with 80’s Rock bands and back-up in recording studios. Gifted with a talent for comedy, Mr. Zucker has written for comedy sketch shows, actor/comedian RODNEY DANGERFIELD and famous comedy clubs. His creative skills afforded him ghostwriting opportunities for sitcoms and wor king in major lm studios, as well as side-by-side with screenwriter/novelist RAY BRADBURY. For the new My Jam TV network, Mr. Zucker will oversee day to day operations; which will include monitoring incoming music videos and establishing deals with independent artists worldwide. He will constantly seek new business to make the company protable while limiting costs, and work cooperatively with advertising agencies to promote the network to a global market. Russ Markowitz initially started his career in the music industry both as a musician and promoter. He later turned to multimedia production, where he has been working for the last 25 years. He has worked in a technical capacity in television, in both broadcast and cable; as well as radio, lm and music for the past 3 decades--including his current position at WNBC which he has held since 1991. For the last 10 years he has taken on the role of Producer, creating programs in various genres including documentaries, talk/variety, music videos, sports, news segments and “All Night with Joey Reynolds”--a 2 hour nightly variety show which aired on WNBC’s digital channel.
