CHELSEA WOLFE I was asked back in late July if I was going to cover the CHELSEA WOLFE show by their tour manager--who ironically is one of the owners of TRICKY FALLS. So on September 22nd at Tricky Falls, I was granted credentials to cover this dark and mysterious performance. The show was not something I am usually accustomed to, but I must admit, she put on a fantastic show. Her face was cast in shadows with her hair falling over her eyes--needless to say, for the most part, it was a difficult shoot…but still I got some great shots of her. Attendance wasn't that great--maybe a 100 or so people, but everyone who did attend knew every word to songs like "Dragged Out", "We Hit a Wall" and "Simple Death" Her music featured frenzied guitars and industrial noises that swooped and clanged. In my opinion, you must be a true fan to have enjoyed her show. As for me--I found it interesting and compelling. In closing, I had never heard of her before the 22nd, but I am glad I did go to the show as well as got the chance to meet her backstage. She was very kind and fun to talk to. If you're into something a little different, I suggest you check her out. You may walk away as pleasantly surprised as I was. www.facebook.com/cchelseawwolfe http://chelseawolfe.net/ Story and Photography By Timothy Schumann
