Two young, up and coming bands from Charlotte, NC, are starting to make a lot of waves in the local music scene there. Both
BUTTERFLY CORPSE and BEYOND THE BROKEN currently have EP’s released of all original music, and are both currently in the
studio working on new music.
BUTTERFLY CORPSE has been performing live for the past three and a half years, has picked up a large, loyal fan base and
has been making life-long friends with many local Charlotte bands and others around the world. Their powerful brand of
Alternative-Metal, relatable lyrics and their high energy performances continue to thrill the North Carolina crowds.
BC released their debut EP “Chrysalis” in February of 2013, as well as a music video for their haunting ballad “Miners”. In
between their hectic pace of shows, the band continues to write more music for their next album. They have opened for
STRAIGHT LINE STITCH, RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS, DARLING PARADE, ARIA, PROSPECT HILL, SHALLOW SIDE, KELEN
HELLER--and a host of top-ranked Carolina Bands. Butterfly Corpse is: Jess Strzepek--Lead Vocals, Matthew Thompson--Lead
