as a rock and roller. Even though I was playing rock, I grew up listening a lot to BOB DYLAN and CAT STEVENS, and early on, learned the importance of great lyrics. Until I began working with Kerrine, I had always sung with guys and did songs from a male perspective. When she and I started singing together, it was exciting to play an opposite role, inspired by her softer female presence. I was impressed that she looked at music so magically, in the same way I do. Early on, we discovered that our voices blended together very well.”
