latter, released in January 2016, takes a slightly more aggressive feel to a similar style. For all the
introspection of “Kids These Days”, ‘”Z-Sides” comes out of the gate with a brash confidence that demands
to be cranked through the speakers. The tone of the 4 song effort certainly sets the stage for what should be
a big year for Zoo Trippin’.
When I asked Casa about plans for 2016 he said, “Touring, touring, touring. We want to start our conquest
for world domination small. First Ohio, then the surrounding states, then all the states, then the world. Like
Pinky and the Brain, but in steps. Gotta be patient.” Part of that process includes the release of another EP,
tentatively titled “Great White Buffalo”, and scheduled for release in June 2016. What we can expect from
that recording is anyone’s guess. One thing we know for sure is that no dance floor in Ohio is safe, because
these animals are ready to hunt!
