Now here comes a band that is a serious staple in the El Paso local music scene and that is BRITTNEY’S RAGE. I've had the
pleasure of photographing them in multiple venues and every time, been thoroughly entertained! The band consists of TONY
MUELA on guitar and vocals, GEORGE GARCIA on bass, MARCO RIVERA, drums and of course, BRITTNEY GAMBOA providing
lead vocals. Major influences are JOURNEY, VAN HALEN, JIMI HENDRIX, LED ZEPPELIN and MOTLEY CRÜE.
Now here's what I find interesting about this band--Tony has ties with Los Angeles, so with that said, six trips since 2010 have
been made, with another tour planned for next month. They play in venues such as THE RAINBOW ROOM and the WHISKEY A
GO GO, and next month in L.A., you can catch them at The Rainbow on the 17th, the Whiskey opening for the BULLETBOYS on
the 19th, 9 ON VINE on the 18th and CLUB LOADED with METAL SANAZ on the 22nd. Then they come right back to El Paso to
jump head first back into the local scene.
Now, just another little fun fact, while in L.A. they use Tony's brother Ray on drums, and from what I've been told, he's a beast
on that kit! BRITTNEY’S RAGE has been together for 3 years and in my opinion, Tony is the jewel of the outfit. He's been
playing guitar for 33 years and believe me, it shows! He's a master at his craft, puts on a great performance, great stage
presence, in a nut shell…just fun to watch!
A summer tour is planned for Arizona, Nevada and of course, ending up in Los Angeles. You can find their music on
