Music by FROM NOTHING “Get Out of Me” Photo credit: Payton Hybdzinski Rawkin’ Interview by JP Rawk I had a great opportunity to sit down and talk with Baltimore-based Hard Rock trio FROM NOTHING. Featuring JOHN AMORIELLO on guitar and vocals, ROB LANDON on bass guitar and STEPHEN HYBDZINSKI on drums and backing vocals. Don’t let the band name fool you. They are from something. That “something” is talented musicianship, strong vocals and a vibrant stage presence. We talked about music, their vision for their music, life in general and much more, as we traversed the many topics effortlessly. I only wish I had the space to share it all with you. It was a great conversation! I hope you enjoy it along with the snippet of their music. If you are in the Baltimore metro area, take an opportunity to check them out. I will stand here and say you will more than likely leave better for the experience. JP: So you guys are old, but new to the scene. I know we have some mutual friends. SUNNY DANIELS-HALL being one of them. John: She’s the reason why we’re playing. I’m gonna name drop…I was talking with Ronnie from GHOST OF WAR-who’s a good friend of mine--and he gave us our first show as a band. JP: You had to say that, right? John: Yes, under contract (laughing). No, Ronnie’s a good guy. That entire band is awesome. Sunny private messaged me and said, “Hey, what do you do?” I said, “I’m retired. I’d love to just be a song writer.” I have a whole catalog of acoustic stuff. I sent her some and she liked it. I said the first thing I gotta do is get Steve out of retirement. Rob: She has been a big help. Tagging people on Facebook. Letting them know about us.
