Under sunny skies all weekend with temps in the mid 80's, the conditions couldn't be more perfect for an outdoor rock festival.
As part of “The World's Loudest Month Festival Tour” produced by DANNY WIMMER PRESENTS and AEG LIVE, the third stop
on the tour was THE CAROLINA REBELLION. The Carolina Rebellion has now solidly secured its place as one of the LARGEST
rock and metal festivals in the entire US. Now in its 6th year, held the first weekend in May in North Carolina, the Carolina
Rebellion, once again this year, shattered its previous attendance records of 80,000 in 2015--with a crowd of 90,000 on
hand all weekend.
Every year, the festival seems to grow bigger and better--this year expanding to 3 full days with over 60 bands performing on
4 stages. With a completely diverse lineup that featured some of the biggest names in the music world--from veteran rock acts
like LYNYRD SKYNYRD, SCORPIONS and ALICE COOPER, old school metal bands like MEGADETH, LAMB OF GOD and
ANTHRAX, modern rock giants such as ROB ZOMBIE, DISTURBED and SHINEDOWN, to Grammy winners, GHOST--and a whole
host of well known and up and coming new bands…there was something for everyone.
