LISA SASSERATH BOEHM
Pennsylvanian and Senior Photojournalist Lisa Sasserath Boehm is
the owner of her own photography business and covers some of the
hottest talent—both mainstream and independent--for ION. Some of
her contributions have been: Slash, Steel Panther, Incubus, Steve
Miller Band and Blondie. But perhaps her greatest personal score,
was photographing Mumford & Sons--and she was unapologetically,
majorly “fanning-out”! She is a regular photographer at the Sands
Bethlehem Event Center and captures some of the most sought-after
acts today.
DANIEL JOHNSON
Bostonian Daniel “The Dagda” Johnson is a Senior Photojournalist
for ION who has branched out from behind the lens to author two
cover/feature articles for ION—Leaving Eden and Mike Gacek—
doing the photographic honors for the cover of the latter.
Daniel has become a contributing “staple” for ION, month after
month, getting “the story”. Perhaps his biggest scoop to date were
interviews with none other than Garth Brooks and Trisha
Yearwood!
PAUL BORDENKIRCHER
Columnist Paul Bordenkircher is ION’s resident “music industry
insider”. His credits in the music business are extensive, including as
a sound and recording engineer. He has been contributing his
“Songwriting Series” to this publication, providing independent
artists with valuable guidance.
He owns Mesa Sand Ventures, LLC, which includes a music
publishing company and blog, and recently launched SongNook, an
organizational tool for songwriters.
