DR X
Dr X (an actual doctor!) is a Journalist for ION who hails from
Wisconsin and is also the lead singer/guitarist for the popular Rock
band, American Zer0s. He regularly reports on his music scene; also
authoring the ION cover story on the band Stitched Up Heart.
Dr X additionally penned an article on Cherry Pit Studios, providing
valuable information to independent artists on song placements. He
also wrote several compelling features on bands such as The Black
Saints, KrashKarma and CircleSwitch.
TIMOTHY SCHUMANN
Newly relocated to New Orleans, Timothy began his journey with
ION covering his local scene in El Paso, Texas. A Senior
Photojournalist for this publication, Tim’s lens has captured many
“greats” for ION, including Judas Priest, ZZ Top, Lil Wayne, Ricky
Martin, Pat Benatar and Marilyn Manson.
He is equally passionate about independent music however, and
authored and photographed the cover stories for Bash and Fall 2
Rise--both El Paso bands.
TIM CAMPBELL
Tim resides in Newark, Ohio, and is both a musician and sound
engineer—besides being a valued Journalist for ION. He especially
embraces the Punk Rock scene, but has a wide range of musical
tastes.
His passion for music is evident in the coverage he provides for ION.
Tim has brought us such Ohio bands/artists as: The Scratches, Zoo
Trippin’ and Hafrican.
