KZ: Hello. I’m Kat from ION Indie Magazine. It is an honor to interview you for the magazine!
GN: I’m Georg, nice to meet you. Pleasure’s on my side.
KZ: First of all, thank you for taking the time to do this interview.
GN: I have to say thank you. No worries, no worries.
KZ: Your new album was just released. How would you describe this album and compare it with the previous ones?
GN: Okay, yea, our latest album called “Codex Atlanticus” was just released on the 29th of January and in comparison to “War
of Ages”, the previous one, in my opinion, is more “catchy”. Our guitar player, Thomas, had to leave the band, because of his
family and so on--he has two small kids--and due to his normal job, 40 or 43 hours a week, he had to quit. And so it was
mainly me doing to songwriting stuff. And I was always more into this really catchy, bombastic music and he was always more
into this heavy riff orientated and somehow also a bit more proogy stuff. And on “Codex Atlanticus” I was quite free, although
I really--let’s say--I shitted my pants at the beginning because I was afraid…‘cause I was not sure if I will be able to do that.
But I got help from our long-term producer JAN VACIK. He’s also the keyboard player in SERIOUS BLACK. I don’t know if you
